About the Award
The Future Science Award is a yearly distinction established by the Future Association to recognize exceptional researchers who advance knowledge across the sciences. Each year, the Council reviews nominations and honors the top three contributors in every participating science field, celebrating original research, mentorship, and lasting impact on their discipline.

Top 3 Contributors Per Field
This prestigious honor is awarded to the top three contributors in each participating science field.
Self-Nomination for Members
Members of Future Science may nominate themselves for consideration alongside colleague nominations.
Prizes & Recognition
1st Place — $10,000
Gold Medal and Honor Certificate awarded to the top contributor in each science field.
2nd Place — $5,000
Silver Medal and Honor Certificate awarded to the second top contributor in each science field.
3rd Place — $3,000
Bronze Medal and Honor Certificate awarded to the third top contributor in each science field.
