Article Processing Charges (APC)
Future Journals is fully open access. To sustain our peer review management, editorial operations, XML production, DOI registration, and long-term digital archiving, we charge an Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance. There are no submission fees — you only pay if your article is accepted for publication.

Waiver & Discount Policy
Future Journals is committed to ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent publication of high-quality research. We offer the following APC reduction options:
- Low- and Middle-Income Country (LMIC) Waiver: Authors from countries classified as low- or lower-middle-income by the World Bank qualify for a 50–100% APC waiver. Apply at time of submission.
- Editorial Board Member Discount: Active editorial board members receive a 50% discount on APCs.
- Invited Article Waiver: Articles formally invited by the Editor-in-Chief are APC-free.
- Reviewer Loyalty Discount: Reviewers who have completed 3+ reviews in the past 12 months receive a 25% discount.
Payment Methods
APCs can be paid via: Credit/Debit Card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, Bank Transfer (SWIFT/IBAN), and institutional purchase orders. Payment is requested only after the final acceptance decision and before the proofing stage.
APC Transparency
In accordance with DOAJ transparency criteria and COPE guidelines, Future Journals does not charge any hidden fees. All charges are clearly documented before submission. Peer review decisions are never influenced by an author’s ability to pay — review is conducted before any APC discussion.
