2. Manuscript Preparation
π File Format: Submit in Microsoft Word (.docx) or LaTeX. PDF is accepted for initial submission but Word/LaTeX is required for revision.
General Formatting
- Double-spaced text throughout
- 12-point Times New Roman or Arial font
- 1-inch (2.5 cm) margins on all sides
- Pages numbered consecutively
- Lines numbered throughout (for peer review)
- British or American English (consistent throughout)
- SI units used throughout; non-SI units in parentheses
β οΈ Blinding Requirement: All author names, affiliations, and acknowledgments must be removed from the main manuscript file for double-blind peer review. Submit author information separately.
3. Manuscript Structure
Title Page (separate file)
- Full title (max 20 words, no abbreviations)
- Running title (max 50 characters)
- All author full names and affiliations
- Corresponding author email and ORCID iD
- Word count, figure count, table count
Main Document Structure
- Abstract β Structured (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions) for research articles
- Keywords β 5β8 terms not already in title
- Introduction β Background, rationale, and objectives
- Materials & Methods β Reproducible detail; ethics statements
- Results β Objective presentation of findings

Future Journals accepts references in APA, Vancouver, or ACS style depending on the discipline. Use your preferred reference manager (Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote). Ensure all DOIs are included where available.

5. Figures, Tables & Supplementary Data
- Figures: minimum 300 DPI (600 DPI for line art); TIFF, EPS, or high-res PNG/JPEG
- All figures must have a legend (placed below figure)
- Tables: editable format (not images); title above, footnotes below
- Supplementary files: labeled Supplementary 1, 2, etc.
- Videos: MP4 format, max 100 MB, clearly labeled
- Color figures: published free of charge in all journals
6. Publication Ethics & Policies
Future Journals follows COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. Authors must adhere to the following:
- Originality: All manuscripts screened via iThenticate (<15% similarity required)
- Authorship: All listed authors must meet ICMJE authorship criteria
- Ethics Approval: Human/animal studies require ethics committee approval and informed consent
- Data Integrity: Fabrication, falsification, or image manipulation results in rejection
- Conflict of Interest: All financial and non-financial interests must be disclosed
- Clinical Trials: Must be registered in a recognized registry (ClinicalTrials.gov, WHO ICTRP, etc.)
7. Peer Review Process
π Double-Blind Review: Reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other throughout the review process.
- Initial editorial check: 1β2 weeks
- Peer review phase: 4β8 weeks
- Decision: Accept / Minor Revision / Major Revision / Reject
- Revised manuscript should be resubmitted within 30 days
- Second review (if major revision): 2β4 weeks
- Final decision communicated by email
8. After Acceptance
- Authors receive proofs for correction (48-hour turnaround required)
- DOI assigned and article published online within 5β7 business days
- Article deposited in CrossRef, Google Scholar, and DOAJ automatically
- Authors receive a PDF of the published article
- Article metrics available from day of publication
